Lecture Hall 1.102
This session offers the insights into the making and first results of UNHCR’s new global comparative household survey programme – Forced Displacement Survey (FDS), which has currently been implemented in 4 countries (South Sudan, Cameroon, Pakistan and Zambia) producing nationally representative evidence on the living conditions of refugees and associated host communities. Selected presentations will highlight methodological innovations and challenges of surveying forcibly displaced populations as well as showcase new evidence in understanding gender gaps and how empowerment of women features in these contexts.
